"My Endoscopy at the North Tees Hospital."

About: North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust

I attended the Endoscopy unit on Thursday the 23rd February and I found every member of this unit helpful and friendly.

From the moment I came into the Endoscopy Department all the members of this unit treated me kindly and cheerfully. For example when removing my outer clothing my small change fell onto the floor a nurse helped me search for it, successfully.

During the Endoscopy procedure I was able to watch everything on TV while the Endoscopist explained their actions. I found the whole experience pain free and I was able to laugh, converse and exchange jokes the whole time.

To anyone who may be nervous of having this procedure I would say that if you are lucky enough to have the same team as I had you have nothing to worry about.

I am not allowed to mention names but I would like to say Thank You to all the staff who cared for me and who gave me an experience I shall never forget with their friendly and cheerful attitude. Thank you once again.
