(as the patient),

I attended Sunderland Royal recently as a day care surgery patient. I would really like to say a big thank you to the surgeon and particularly theatre nurses Clare and Steph who were very caring and chatted to me the whole time, and held my hand throughout the procedure as l was under local anesthetic. Your bedside manner was much appreciated and helped me enormously. Thanks Again.

Thank you for your response. I am pleased to hear you will inform the theatre staff of my appreciation of their care throughout my operation. I feel people are very quick to complain but not so quick to say 'thank you' 😘
