"My NHS treatment cannot be faulted."

Having succombed to a Coronary problem on Monday 21st Feb I was most impressed with my treatment throughout. Both the paramedic and ambulance crew were very efficient and most reassuring. So too the staff of the A&E Department and Admissions Ward 22. I was quickly and professionally put through a series of medical tests and procedures, which led to diagnosis of a heart attack condition known as an (MI)- NSTEMI and me being transferred in turn to the Coronary Care Unit. The specialist Cardiology treatment and care which followed was outstanding. The procedures involving an angiogram and fitting stents to damaged arteries were painless and most impressive. Staff at all levels could not be faulted from bed-side manner to the specific tasks allocated to them. The entire experience from admission to being discharged took less than 48 hours !
