"I was admitted to Spire Hospital ..."

About: Spire Southampton Hospital

What I liked

I was admitted to Spire Hospital on 13 July 2008, and had a triple bypass. From the moment I walked through the front door and was greeted by your very nice receptionist I was made to feel like I was someone special.

Of course I must thank Mr Ohri and his team for their fine work inside my chest, and also the good job they made of putting together my tattoo on the outside of my chest. The last time that I saw Mr Ohri I managed to shake his hand and blubber like a baby. I’m still blubbering now but Thank you Mr Ohri, Thank you.

Please thank all the nursing staff for looking after me and helping my recovery. And also for putting up with all my many family visitors, I would like to go on and mention everyone personally but it would make this letter to boring, so please thank everybody for me.

The thing that I remember most is, before my operation, I had been talking to one of your porters, and about two days after my operation he was walking along the corridor and spotted me sitting in the chair, he actually took the time to come into my room and ask me how I was feeling, and if there was anything that I wanted, he obviously could have just done his job, nodded and carried on walking, but he went one step further. I did actually get to thank him, because the morning that I left he was in the reception. But it was a very emotional time for me and I am sorry to say that I can’t remember his name.

I must apologise for not remembering any of your staff member’s names, because every one of them introduced themselves to me personally.

One last thing and I won’t trouble you any more; I would just like to say how clean your hospital was, the meals were fantastic they actually looked the same as in the menu, and they tasted good as well.

Thank You All one last time. Thank You.

What could be improved

I can't think of anything that needed improving, only a few more road directions.

Anything else?

I am sorry that it took me so long to thank you all. Thank you all.
