We visited Dorset County Hospital on a Wednesday night in February. Having arrived in Dorset in the afternoon, our little boy, aged 8, proceeded to hit his index finger with a rock whilst fossil hunting. It was a mess, nail hanging off, heavy bleeding. From the reception staff, to the triage nurse, to the nurse practitioner and x-Ray team we received excellent care and service. I can not fault them. Thank you.
As for the knitted bears - brilliant and thoughtful. "Dorset bear" was cuddled all night and made a little boy very happy.
Thank you again. This is the NHS at its very best.
"Excellent first class a&e service"
