"I have waited 2 days for my staples to be taken out by the district nurse"

About: Bromley Healthcare / District nursing

(as the patient),

I have had a whole new knee and was told that my stapes needed to come out on a certain date. On the due day I was told I was not booked in although I had already seen two district nurses, so one wasted day. I was told the next day, I rang at lunchtime and the person said yes they are coming today. When I rang at 3. 50 pm I was told they were unstaffed and promised the next day. Let's see.

The treatment I have had for my knee has been wonderful, it's such a shame the district nurses have let this down
