"maternity and consultant's"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

On behalf of my friend and her family we are very discussed with the concern's and help from Doncaster's midwife's and consultant's. March 2016 my friend was 2 weeks ready to give birth when she felt her baby stop moving knowing this she contacted the Doncaster Hospital, The consultant did no such check with the baby heartbeat or ultrasound or did not consult another doctor or proceed the correct procedures. The due date was getting closer and my friend was in pain as the days went past knowing her baby wasn't moving was heart-breaking and to see that Doncaster Hospital wasn't doing anything about this. My friend was in touch with Doncaster Hospital each day and the consultants didn't do a thing until the end of March where the consultant realised the baby wasn't moving my friend had to carry her baby around for all of 2 week's knowing something was wrong and going for "monitoring" by the same consultant. Having looked at the notes from the consultant it is clear to see their wasn't any actually care of plan or care in general of the birth of my friend baby. When the consultant finally realised the baby wasn't moving my friend was back within a week to deliver her baby. Basically I'm complaining about the lace of care and communication the maternity ward have at Doncaster Hospital. Personally I find it disgraceful and this person needs to have some basic training and listening to clients needs and wants. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
