It is ok on this ward and I have been here for 6 or 7 months. I was in prison before coming here and I think prison was better because I had more independence in prison. Once you were out of your cell it was up to you where you go. I don't have that independence here. My community leave has been spoken about, but I haven't been outside for 2 years. The staff are ok, some have an attitude that I think needs changing and they seemed very stressed out at times - not all of them - but it can create a situation. The staff don't really ask what I want and I don't even think that I have a proper care plan. There are often sessions, which is good. I go to light industry and I like this. I do think that there are not enough hands on things to do on the ward. Before Christmas we did boxes with the OTs which was good, but it is generally boring on the ward.
