I've had a cough/cold for the past month however this weekend my cough had gotten really bad. So I went to get cough medicine - after reading the back of the medicine I was unsure as to whether I can take it due to my medication so called 111.
I spoke to an on call doctor... the call lasted 57 seconds where the doctor told me "yeah it's fine to take it don't worry but if you're really worried you can always go to a&e".
As I was really unhappy with that I went to my GP today where they said "you can not take that medicine under any circumstances due to your medication".
Thoroughly disappointed with this service. Especially as the "doctor" couldn't care less.
Would not recommend.
