"A&E - Amazing"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

Yesterday, I had to visit the A&E department due to me being so accident prone I had hurt my foot/ankle again.

I thought that the A&E department would have been rather quiet the earlier that I went so I arrived at 8:25am and I was out of the hospital for 9:50am. Within this time, I registered, had a person look at my foot who then advised me that I would most probably need an x-ray. Once finished there I waited a few minutes before I was called through to be seen by a doctor. They advised me to go for an X-ray and then as soon as the results were back they would let me know how the X-ray went.

Once I had the X-ray done, I waited for around 10 minutes and received the results that I had actually badly sprained my ankle/foot and they told me how I was able to treat the pain and how long it would take to heal.

I am extremely pleased with the thoughtfulness of the staff as they made sure I would be ok walking around due to the pain in my foot and I'm extremely pleased with the treatment/care I received along with the waiting times too! In an hour and a half I had arrived there, found out what the problem was and went home again!

So thank you to all of the staff that looked after me yesterday and a massive well done to you all too. I noticed that when I was leaving the A&E department that it was starting to become busy but the staff were still trying their best at the same time too ?? I would definitely recommend this A&E department to my friends and family and I hope that our A&E is here to stay ??.
