Where to start? My father in law phoned an ambulance last night 19/2 waited a long time for that to arrive. Arrived in A + E at around 10pm struggling to breath suffers from COPD and has recently been diagnosed with cancer. They decided to leave an elderly man sat in the waiting room struggling to breathe for 13.5 hours!! This is extremely disgusting. I only hope there older generations of there family are never in this predicament to be treated this way absolutely appauled with it. They should of transferred him to a hospital where the care is possible. Or surely there should be some communication between the ambulance service and the hospital of bed availability you dont ring an ambulance for an emergency to be sat in a waiting room for that long.
