"Mum had a TIA"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

My mum was brought in by ambulance on 13/2/17 with a suspected further stroke. She had a scan in the window of opportunity for thrombolysis if required & assessed regularly in A & E before going to ward 9 overnight. We were very impressed by the efficiency of everybody involved in her care and the kind way we were all treated family & mum. There was good communication as to care given & outcomes & we felt that nothing could have been improved. A big thank you to all staff involved who all showed patience, professionalism and gave good care despite them all being under pressure of being very busy most of the time.Nicky

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback after this worrying time for you, and I hope your Mum is continuing to recover. I am really pleased that she was able to get speedy treatment when it really matters, and that staff were kind and caring and kept you informed about what was happening. I will pass this on to the relevant staff, who will relaly appreciate your kind comments, I know it will encourage them.
