I am appalled at the way I was spoken to today, firstly my name on the system had been makes 'discharged' meaning that I had an extended waiting time, after this I was seen by a nurse who told me that no doctors were available, they did some observations but then proceeded to tell me that regardless to me crying in the amount of abdominal pain I was in, I was young and that's fine, they told me that I should put up with it and take pain killers. I feel that I was completely thrown under the carpet, the pain killers she gave me have already been prescribed to me and don not work for the problem I am having, when I asked how to get a taxi home I was told that they wouldn't tell me. Cause again ' I am young so there is nothing wrong ' I continued to cry during the whole appointment and they did not once ask me how much pain I was in. I am now on my way to an appointment with a specialist as I have been told by another doctor today that my pains and problems are very serious. I am appalled that they would not treat me because in their eyes ' I am young and Shouldn't be ill' as we all know being ill isn't something anyone can help.
