"A & E attendance by my wife"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

My wife was brought to A & E by ambulance on Sunday morning, 12th. February at approx. 8.00 a.m. following a faint which caused her to fall backwards on a solid floor with loss of consciousness and heavy bleeding from scalp wound. She was assessed very quickly, had a CT brain scan followed by suturing of scalp laceration. The staff including the Consultant, nursing staff, radiographers, receptionists and porters were kind, considerate and displayed great expertise. We cannot speak too highly of them all and enormously appreciate their care.
