Last week i was admitted for ablation. I was apprehensive as last year I went to another hospital for an operation which caused me to be in a lot of pain and distress before it was realised there was a problem following the surgery. My partner was very anxious due to personal reasons and the staff were very sensitive to her feelings when she explained to them why.
We can only both say we have nothing but praise for all of the staff who cared for me during my stay. The level of care, communication and commitment from the team was extremely excellent on the wards 32 and 33. The staff in the discharge lounge were also outstanding it was nice to have a hot drink whilst we waited for my medications.
I have never been to a hospital before where every member of staff introduced themselves the way all staff did from the moment i set foot on the ward to leaving, you should all be very proud of yourselves giving such excellent care.
