"VIST TO CHILDREN'S A&E"

Visited the children's A&E department last week with my almost 5 year old.

This was my first visit there, I was unaware there was now a children's A&E. I think its a brilliant idea. Its much better for the children to have a separate A&E.

My child felt comfortable and relaxed in the waiting room decorated especially for children. He received excellent care whilst we where there. The doctors and nurses spent the time ensuring they checked all of my child's symptoms. Our visit lasted a total of 3 hours and this was only due to the fact the nurses wanted to see an improvement in my child and for him to see the doctor.

I felt that given the stressful circumstances of our visit the doctors and nurses along with the child specific A&E helped ease our worry and stress. My child returned home with us that evening and has now made a full recovery. Thank you to everyone that helped that evening I am very grateful.
