I have had both my knees replaced at this hospital.
Both times I was cared for on Philip Yeoman Ward.
Every member of staff was so efficient and caring that I cannot speak highly enough of my experiences there.
Even when unexpected issues arose within the ward, these were dealt with immediately, despite staff pressures.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
Going back the second time was almost like "home from home" as most of the staff are constant (they must have job satisfaction there!). Some even remembered me and I was quite sad when it was time for my discharge.
The whole team - Consultant, theatre staff, nurses, physios, etc were superb
