"It was nice to feel a bit more like my old self"

About: Highbury Hospital

(as the patient),

I enjoyed the talking groups where we used question cards. It was nice to feel a bit more like my old self and people were genuinely interested in what I’d got to say. I also enjoyed the pottery group where I got to make a couple of coasters. The OT’s were very helpful and always listened and took notice.

Thank you very much for feeding back to us and I'm glad you are feeling more like your old self. I'll pass your comments onto the OTs.

Thank you for the kind comments and feedback regarding the Occupational Therapy input onto the wards and in the Maples department. It is very useful for us to understand which activities people find most meaningful and of benefit.

It is lovely to hear you felt listened too and felt supported to feel like your old self. I will pass these comments onto the team and we will continue to offer both the sessions you mentioned on a regular basis.

Best wishes for your ongoing recovery
