"Radiology staff slow and unhelpful. We're not..."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / General surgery

Pain relief not given when asked for, waiting for an operation to remove appendix for over 15 hours. Was treat poorly, after operation was placed on a ward and after lunch everyone on ward was placed in the staff room while they cleaned the ward for hours. Traumaticed by the experience. Poor women were all at risk of infection. Patients had to all look after each other and there was no where to plug in the drips. Were left to sit on wooden chairs. The room was incredibly filthy. Will never return to sunderland royal hospital ever again.
