My nan has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer and had a operation to remove the affected bowel area. During her stay on Ward 15 at Tameside General Hospital she was constantly praising the staff, saying how helpful and caring they all are. Her stay at Tameside was reduced as she recovered very quickly, which she wholly puts down to the care she received.

Thank you for your comments, which have been passed on to the staff concerned. I am sure they will be greatly appreciated. I do hope that your Nan continues to improve, and was very pleased to read your very positive comments about the care and treatment she received, and the effects this had on her rapid recovery.
I am sorry not to have responded sooner. However, Tameside General Hospital has only recently obtained the facility to reply to comments made on this website.
