"Treated like an inconvenience"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

from 6am this morning I'v been dizzy and suffering a severe head ache, Nausea, of balance etc! Thought I would ring 111 for some advice to be told I think we should send an ambulance to which I stated no defo not I will get myself to get checked, I could have got an ambulance and someone could have needed it a million times quicker and more than me... To then sit for an hour to then be belittled as to why I was there (me being ill and receiving that advice from a paramedic to get checked was an inconvenience) sat around in a large room where you could visible see and hear patients getting checked to then be approached (all patients) can anyone go home and see the Gp in the morning! I Would not be sitting there if I could get an app with a GP it's a 3 week wait, and I know my body and I believe it is an emergency!

I honestly feel absolutely ill but my hearts still going so it's all good they reckon!
