"Amazing Midwife"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Maternity care

I gave birth to my daughter on 5th May 2016. My birth was a very fast labour and I was dealt with very quickly. The midwife was amazing. Although we knew the birth was going to be quick, the midwife respected my wishes of having a water birth. The midwife judged the level of care perfectly and quickly became "one of the team" with the family members who were present in the room. I'd like to thank the midwife for their efforts and relaxed manner, even when my baby's heart rate dropped. An outstanding member of staff at Good Hope. I hope we have the pleasure of having you in 2017.

thank you very much for your lovely comments following the birth of your daughter on 5th May 2016. Late congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby girl.

I'm so pleased to note your feedback that the midwife very quickly became 'one of the team' with you and your family, and that their care and relaxed manner was reassuring throughout.

I will be delighted to ensure that your kind comments are highlighted to the Matron for Delivery Suite, as well as our Acting Head of Midwifery who will be equally thrilled to read your feedback, and ensure that it is communicated to all of the Midwifery Team who work very hard to promote and provide a positive patient experience and great care.

I hope my actions are acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to post your feedback, it is very important to us.
