My two year was referred to see the consultant at the children's centre for a heart murmur & blue lips.The consultant was so patient & caring, chatted with my son & made him feel at ease. Toys in the consultant's office were also a bonus & from a parent's perspective. The consultant really listened to us and explained everything clearly. HCA who took his weight &etc was also really sweet. The consultant referred my son for an echocardiogram & the appointment was scheduled for the following week (super quick referral).

Again the sonograger was just fantastic with my wriggling son & what we thought might be a tricky appointment (after all, how long does a toddler ever willingly sit still for) was quickly & effectively managed. Genuinely great experience & a huge thank you to all involved.

I am so pleased to hear about your experience within the Children's Centre at York Hospital. It's great to hear that your son's consultant was so patient and caring, chatting with your son and making him feel comfortable.

We are very proud of our staff and we know that they always strive to provide the best service to our patients, it's great to get feedback from our patients and their parents reflecting this.

I hope your son is okay and that he will receive the same high standard of care should he need our services again in the future.
