"The night staff were amazing"

About: Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

I had to go to A&E for an accident which could've blinded me. The night staff were absolutely amazing and I'm sad that I couldn't of had them helping me the whole time. They were so kind and caring and supportive, really put me at ease. Unfortunately it was handover time to day staff who couldn't of cared less about me. They left me alone in a room to wash my eyes out despite me being so scared and I could hear them talking about holidays and things like this. I even heard my name mentioned and then whispering, and even swearing at times. They got annoyed with me when I told them my eye makeup wouldn't come off with just water. I thanked the reception staff on my way out, and I have never been more desperate to get out. One person at reception looked up blankly at my thank you, barely acknowledged me and just ignored me. Your day staff really really let you down NHS.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent visit.

I'm really sorry to read your comments about the day staff and how you feel you were treated.

I would like us to be able to look into this further so please could you email me with your name, date of birth, date of visit and which hospital you went to?

It's not clear from your review where you were.

I hope you have recovered from your accident

Kind Regards

Claire Marshall
