Attended Pinderfields yesterday afternoon for a minor op,
The hospital was extremly busy. But I was checked into gate 40 quickly, by the very nice, helpful receptionist. I then went on to been seen in turn by the nurse, anaesthetist and doctor, who explained what would be happening and answered any questions. Later I was led down to theatre by a lovely cheerful nurse. Half an hour later I woke up in the recovery ward...which was full, I couldn't helpful but overhear the frantic overworked staff searching for beds. So while no one really looks forward to a hospital visit..I can not praise the staff highly enough...And wish that our excuse of a goverment would get they're act together and take some of the strain off for these hardworking people.
"Great staff"
