My husband fell in the house on Sunday, I called for paramedics, when they arrived they then realized he had been on the floor for a couple of hours and were most upset that they had not been notified earlier.
Olly and Lorraine were very thorough and professional, they did a number of tests on my husband as they suspected there was an underlying condition that was affecting him. They were with us just over an hour and sent a report though to our GP. As a result of further tests they have found out that my husband is anemic and are now trying to find out why. My husband insisted he did not wish to be taken into hospital, the paramedics were very respectful of his wishes and did all they needed to ensure he could be safe at home with me.
Had it not been for Olly and Lorraine and their thoroughness these tests may not have been initiated. Our GP has also arranged additional assessments and help at home.
It just so happened that my husband had another fall on Monday and the paramedics attended again, a different couple this time.
I wanted to thank them all for their care and consideration.
