I gave birth to my son on September 11th 2016 at Barnsley Hospital Maternity Suite. I was in latent labour for 36 hours before my son was actually born which meant that I spent time in maternity triage and the maternity ward before getting transferred to the labour suite. I can honestly say that all the staff were fabulous, being kind, supportive and very informative. I would like to give a special mention to the midwife that looked after myself in triage and was my midwife who delivered my son on the labour suite. They put me totally at ease with their professional, caring and reassuring manner. I trusted their expertise which gave me the confidence I needed to put my total trust in them. Thank you for giving me a positive, wonderful experience. I can not praise you enough.
