"The elderly patients"

About: Queen's Hospital / Accident & emergency

If you have an elderly relative who needs emergency treatment get taken elsewhere if you can. My mother spent 3 weeks in hospital here front 1st December 16. She broke her pelvic . She was discharged with a urine infection to home with none of he medication she needed. She should have been sent to St George's for rehabilitation but they sent her home. After 8 days at home with emergency care plan with not one visit from a physio she has had another fall. She was taken in last night and is still waiting in a and e for a place on a ward or transfer to St George's.

Dreadful place
