"operation at Crosshouse Day Surgery on 14th Dec 2016"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was in for day surgery for complete gall bladder removal and from start to finish was treated with genuine kindness, respect and professionalism by all the staff. They couldn't have done more and their kindness cheered everyone up too! The night staff were short staffef and a lovely agency nurse came to ease the load - they worked tirelessly together all night and with great professionalism. My young lady surgeon was a delight (I think her surname was Smith). She came to talk to me the following morning even though she didn't have to. Altogether the staff were wonderful

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Thank you Gwendolen,

What a lovely post of thanks. I will pass this nice, early Christmas present to the team and I am sure they will be delighted.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas, I am sure it will be better now your op. is over.

Best wishes,

Eunice
