"Well done Shenaz in PALS"

I emailed PALS about the lack of NHS dentist availability. I received a reply within 1 hour (I did email very early 7.38am) from a lady called Shenaz Patel. I was very impressed with her prompt response and solution that I can now say that I have an NHS dentist. Not only was she friendly and helpful, she gave me advice on my pregnancy care and gave me her direct number. This encounter was very different from when I called them before.

I would like to give a personal thank you to Shenaz Patel (PALS/ Information Officer) and wished she had answered the phone when I rang previously because my experience of Bolton Primary Care would have been wholly positive.

We are glad your problem was resolved and sorry you initially had such a disappointing experience.

NHS dentists in Bolton are only able to take on a limited number of new patients each month, and these new places are usually allocated very quickly on the first day of the month, but unfortunately we are not able at present to administer a waiting list for people who ring at other times.

Staff always try to be as helpful and informative as possible with callers, and if someone needs dental treatment urgently this will be available.
