Staff don't treat the patients like individuals or with dignity.
Not the vulnerable elderly anyway. My 74 year old father who had vascular dementia was treated like a pain in the backside. He couldn't feed himself or sip from a cup and was left to fend for himself. They don't let you in at patient feeding time but one day I turned up only to see my dad struggling to feed himself. He had yoghurt all over his face as the spoon was going anywhere but to his mouth. He fell over too many times to count. It's an appalling place and has put me off ever going into hospital.
Some of the staff are on a power trip and spoke to me like I was an idiot. Neither one knows what the next one is doing. So unhelpful.
