"2year olds excellent care"

About: Poole General Hospital

My son was admitted to Elmwood for observation by our doctor on Tuesday 29th November. He was extreamly poorly and was admitted to Bearwood Owls that night. From the moment we got there to the moment we left we were looked after so well. The staff, including cleaner, are wonderful & despite being stretched no job was too small for them. They made sure they had the time to not only do obs & administer medication but also they spared the time to interact with the children & also talk to the parents. We stayed in until Friday 2nd December when my son was well enough to come home. Despite my son being very poorly for most of the time he was also happy & comfortable the whole tine he was there. An excellent service from an excellent team. To close this ward would be a travesty to Poole hospital

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to pass on your feedback about your son's care on the Children's Unit at Poole Hospital.

I will pass your comments on to the staff who work on the Unit.

It really does mean a lot to them to get positive feedback and thanks, especially when they work so hard and go out of their way to interact with the children and their parents.

I hope that your son is now on the mend and that he will be able to enjoy all the festivities in the run up to Christmas.
