"Review of hospital cleanliness on ward 11"

About: Manor Hospital / Accident and emergency

Husband was admitted for urgent surgery after being sent home previous week from A&E. Was in itu for 10 days and cannot fault the care and cleanliness on there but then he was moved to ward 11 and what a shock. Floor was absolutely filthy it wasn't mopped the three days he was on there. There was no walking frames on the ward and I used a hand sanitiser on the wall on the Friday night and it fell off and still hadn't been replaced by the Monday. He's still there but on a different cleaner ward.

Thank you for your comments and for sharing your positive experiences of the care received on ITU. I am sorry however to read of the poor experience on Ward 11 which is not the standard of care we aspire to deliver. I will log your concerns accordingly and speak with the Support Staff regarding the issues highlighted including estates for the hand sanitiser.
