"Appalling treatment from consultant"

I Visited a consultant today at new hall hospital and was appalled by the consultant I saw. Went to find out what was wrong with my hips due to being in a lot of pain for the last two years. Was referred as my X-ray came back normal after being told many years ago that I had shallow hip sockets. The consultant I saw was very rude and just repeatedly told me there was nothing wrong and that it was very common, I was not even given a chance to get a word in to explain the pain, when it occurred or anything. I left feeling extremely disheartened and upset and was made to feel as though I was completely wasting the consultants time. I will be making a formal complaint and getting a second opinion. I was only in the consultants room for literally 4minutes. The consultant was very rude and quick to get me back out the door as it seemed like a massive inconvenience me having been referred there. Disgraceful treatment.
