"Took my 5 year old daughter to A&E and had a..."

About: Bedford Hospital South Wing / Accident and emergency

On the morning of 27 th November I took my little girl to Bedford A&E. A mirror had fallen off our bathroom cabinet and fell on her head. She had a small cut but quite deep. I had managed to stop the bleeding before our arrival. I checked her in Promptly and before I could even sit down the Dr appeared from no where and took us right in. The doctor was amazing with my daughter. I was in such a state I didn't ask the doctor if they were specialised in paediatrics but the doctor certainly had a way with kids.

The doctor checked my daughter out and the nurses then glued her head. I was given head injury literature and clear instructions of what to watch out for and how to manage her wound. This was a minor injury so I fully expected a long wait. But we were only there about 45 mins.

Credit where credit is due the doctor and team were fantastic. Eleanor my daughter is not only fine but also is not scared of visiting A&E . Good old NHS we would be lost without you. Thank you so much
