What I liked

i took my dad to a&e on tue 25/5/2010 with an infected toe and the staff that looked after him were axcellent aspacially the staff nurse.

What could be improved

After 5hours and 20 mins of waiting we gave up on seeing a member of the surgical team when i was told they could be another hour or two. we discharged him ,cut short our holiday and returned to our local hospital. my suggested improvement would be to keep patients informed whats happening and not fob them off with it wont be long when it will be.the 4 hour target is there for a reason not to be dodged by admitting a patient after 3hrs 50mins.
