"I was admitted as an emergency ..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted as an emergency patient via 'Herts Doc', A & E, and the Medical Assessment Unit on the 16th May. I'd just like you to know that I was treated with courtesy from everyone with whom I came into contact from the time I was first examined and admitted to the moment of my discharge two days later. The clinical and all support staff were unfailingly helpful. Doctors and nurses explained my treatment and took the time to answer questions. Importantly, I'm considerably better as a result of my stay. Even the quality of the food, (often, I understand a cause of complaint), surprised me! I would be grateful if you would pass on my thanks to all concerned. Thank you.

We were delighted to read of your recent good experience of the QEII - it's what our staff strive for every day. We'll make sure your comments reach our teams in the hospital's A&E and medical assessment unit. While Herts Doc is not run by us, we'll also do our best to get your thanks to them too!
