"A very positive experience"

From the moment I walked in the door everyone was there to help. A member of staff showed me to my room in the Dudley suit and explained all the functions in the room, 'pink for drink' came in handy!!! The catering staff were fabulous and the whole team couldn't do enough to make sure I ate what I wanted, and always had a smile.

The theatre staff who came to collect me kept me calm and we even had a giggle, thank you!! The aneathsertist, what a great member of staff, first time ever the found a vein before it did a runner and that needle thing didn't hurt.

My consultant was brilliant as ever what more can I say there??

And the nurses, despite a very busy 2 days they were always there at the touch of a button.

My special thanks goes to one who explained everything beautifully to put my mind at rest and assured me I could cope at home! (Doing ok so far!!) They made sure I had all the equipment I needed, and took out that needle thing expertly!! And the member of staff who kept me in check and expertly removed my drain without incident (on my part!!) thank you, you went beyond for me and I am really greatful. What a great team.
