What I liked
I came there after premature bleeding on a 6month pregnancy,
As soon as i came to the assessment centre and told about the bleeding put me onto a Labour ward with no waiting at all, which I was grateful for.
They were kind, sensitive and treated me like a person, not a number.
I was taken to my own room, and treated well and given pain killers when I asked for them.
Another hospital I went to made me wait whilst having a miscarriage so its a great contrast.
What could be improved
The food was quite terrible, I had to buy in.
While giving birth i was alone, and my partner had to press the buzzer to bring the midwife back (they were very over worked, seemed to be in many places at once so I don't blame them at all), a different midwife came in, collecting towels, saw me and then went off without a word :s, not sure what that was about, but I was in real pain at that point, so maybe they could have reassured me?
Anything else?
I thought they dealt very sensitively with my still birth, were so kind and nice, and helped me with my options.
I am very happy with the hospital, and would recommend to anyone who wants to go there.
