"CFS ME mistreatment"

After being on the waiting list for nearly 2 years for the cfs/me service at Preston Hospital, me and my dr were told that they did not treat severe ME only mild to moderate. I then went on the waiting list for the Yorkshire centre for psychological medicine at Leeds general hospital. At my pre admission appointments I was told lots of things about the inpatient treatment I would be receiving which were not the case. I was then treated with disbelief during my stay there. Although my disease is severe and progressive, the way I was treated made things much worse. At that time, nearly 3 years ago, I could walk short distances on softer surfaces e. g. Carpet with padded slippers on, I am now bed bound.
