"I would have died without NDH Accident and..."

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency

Last year I was taken to A and E, after calling for an Ambulance. A doctor came out, dealt with me very quickly after telling them I had servers tummy pain. To cut a long story short NDH saved my life, if it hadn't been for their speedy diagnosis and excellent surgeon I would be dead. I had a perforated gall bladder, bowel and viscus and septicaemia. I was in a coma for 10 days and ICU for a month. They were wonderful to me. If the A and E hadn't been there and wonderful doctors and surgeons, I wouldn't be writing this.

Dear Patient

Thank you for posting your kind comments on the website, I was sorry to learn you were so ill last year, it must have been a very worrying time for both you and your family, and I hope you are now fully recovered.

I have shared your feedback with the A&E manager where they will be warmly recieved.

Many thanks
