"Friday day out"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I had to spend the day at D41 to find out if I had a blood clot in my leg. Thankfully it was found that I don't.

I feel that I must comment on the level of care and attention I received. Yes, I did wait a long time but at no time did I think the staff were sitting doing nothing. I people watched while I was there and was very disappointed with the attitude of the other people waiting. I sat in the corridor so that I didn't have to listen to the whingeing and moaning. Do these people appreciate that at no time are they asked for money, the attention and treatment they are receiving is totally free of charge?. As a very infrequent visitor to hospital

I wanted to say thank you very much to the staff for their first class care. Enjoy your sweets and biscuits
