About: East Surrey Hospital

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of care that I received at East Surrey Hospital. The staff were excellent overall and the ward felt well-run and clean. Based on my experience I would recommend the hospital to friends and family. The one area in need of improvement is the post-operative physiotherapy once the patient has left hospital. This seems to be non-existent but would improve patient rehabilitation considerably. I have to assume this is finance driven rather than medically. Nonetheless, I am entirely happy about the surgery and the ward. Well done East Surrey Hospital.

Thank you for your comment about post-op physiotherapy, we don't provide this part of your rehabilitation, we refer our patients on to community service providers, so I have brought your feedback to the attention of Sally Dando, our Head of Therapies who will pass it on to them.
