I am currently in Frimley Park (3.58am) after arriving here at just after 1am in an ambulance with my sister, who is very unwell and was advised by the ambulance staff that they must take her to A&E. Having never been overly satisfied with the service here, back in June I was rushed in with suspected appendicitis and sat waiting for 4 hours because they lost my blood sample, I'm always sceptical as to how long the wait will be. As we have now been here approaching 3 hours I thought I would ask the nurse, one of many sitting around not appearing to be doing anything, what sort of wait time we were looking at. They quickly snapped at me and said they don't provide wait times and to be patient... My sisters hand began turning blue, she is in hospital for her irregular and slow heart beat, dizziness and pains in her chest and left arm, so I walked over to the nurse station to ask for some advice/someone to take a look and was appalled at the unfriendly and hostile attitude of the staff. Shortly after my sister asked for pain relief which they then took 40 minutes to bring to her... It is not busy here this evening and there are plenty of people sat around. Who knows how much longer we'll be waiting! If you're planning on visiting Frimley Park A&E unit I'd seriously suggest looking elsewhere!
