Response from Basildon University Hospital

Thank you for your recent comments following your recent stay on Burstead Ward.

We are pleased that your experience on the ward was a positive one.

However, we are sorry for the delay of your operation.

Due to capacity issues and the number of emergency patients being admitted to the hospital wards, this has resulted in some elective surgery being delayed.

If you have not received details of your operation date, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01268-524900 Ext 4440 or email pals@btuh.nhs.uk, and they will look into this for you.

Thank you once again.
