About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Ophthalmology

My appointment at the Eye Clinic on 12th September was cancelled.I was advised of this by letter in August. I telephoned the department, who said that I was on the waiting list and another appointment would be sent. It is now October and I have heard nothing. I have a complex problem with one eye and had two cataract operations last year. This is causing me anxiety, particularly as I was told that my condition would be monitored closely. I did attend the eye casualty in July as I was concerned about a new problem that occurred in my good eye.
