"Better than i expected"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / General surgery

I was taken into ward 18 ion Oct 2016, i always said i would never go in the vic, from the stories i heard, i cant complaion at all, the staff were so helpful and looked after not only me but all the patients in a dignified way, the food was eatable and i am fussy, and the bed changed dailty, no complaintes what so ever, one thing i will mention though what stood out, there was a health assistant on that ward, they want to be a nurse some day, you could see the commitment and drive in them to succeed, they for sure has devotion for this job, a can do attitude, none of the staff were bad in any form N.C

Dear Nathan

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience at The Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. It is great to read that you had such a positive and dignified inpatient stay, that you found our staff to be committed and their devotion to their jobs was evident.

I will share your experiences with the teams involved as I know they will be pleased to read them.

Thank you once more and I wish you a continued recovery.

Andrew
