Just returned from a short stay in Ward 3 after having appendix removed!
I was impressed with my treatment from start to finish.
From arriving in A and E, I was seen very quickly despite it being a Saturday night.
I was given painkillers promptly which was a huge relief.
All of the staff were friendly and polite, did not rush me and listened very carefully to me.
When I was transferred to the ward, again I was treated very well, listened to, and cared for exceptionally well.
Surgery was performed the next day and I felt confident and safe in the teams capable hands.
I literally cannot fault any part of my stay and would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, Surgeons, domestic staff, cleaners and everyone else who keeps the NHS operating in such difficult circumstances these days.
You are all truly inspirational.
Thank you
"Wonderful care"
