I went into Lincol hospital to have two bones in my foot separated because they had grown together. I had seen my consultant in the months leading up to my operation and he told me what needed to be done after having my mri scan etc.
I arrived at 8am in the 19th October and the nurses really looked after me. The consultant came round to tell me what time I would roughly go down and what would happen and the person who put me to sleep also came to see me, they were very nice and asked lots of questions and asked if u had any questions.
At 1: 30pm I went down to the the forward waiting room and mummy went in with me whilst I went to sleep and daddy stated in the forward waiting room. Before I knew it I was fast off. I woke up with my leg in cast and really, really hungry. I was so happy to eat that the pain I felt didn't bother me! Although before my operation I was really nervous everyone on rainforest made me feel much better.
Now I just have to tackle the physio then I can get back to doing what I love best my football: ) from - Future England women's football Goal keeper!
