"They were all so kind, compassionate and genuinely caring"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / General surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

I am writing this to inform you of what wonderful care and attention my daughter and ourselves received today from Ward 4A at Pilgrim Hospital. She went in for a minor operation and I can't fault the care we received from everyone we were in contact today with; the Anaesthetic team, Dr Krupa, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Housekeepers, Vicar, Recovery Staff and the Porter. They were all so kind, compassionate and genuinely caring.

People can be quick to criticise and not so willing to offer praise where its due, so I would appreciate if you could pass on my comments to each and every one of them and let them know how valued they are and what a great job they do.

Many thanks

Dear LishyG,

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I am really delighted to hear that you feel your daughter had such good care at Pilgrim Hospital.

It will also mean a lot to the staff that cared for her and I will ensure that I share your comments with everyone involved in her care.

I hope your daughter is making a good recovery.

Many thanks,

Terry Vine,

Thank you for your reply.

I am happy for you to share this on the 'ULHT together' Facebook page if you wish. I am a member of staff myself and know how rewarding it is for others to see positive comments related to the hospital you work at whether you were directly involved yourself or not.

Kind regards.
